The first thing I usually do when got online is to check for mails then Facebook. If you would agree, logging into each service account takes some time and repeating the same steps is boring. Windows Live Messenger can integrate other social networks but I do not like it anyhow.
MultiMi, a desktop app that combines social networks with emails, cloud storage, chat and more has really caught my eyes. Further surprised to know that it is developed by AVG, the security vendor!
Although still in beta stage, MultiMi is very successful in integrating different services seamlessly. Communication is easy and centralized, where you can share Flickr photo with Facebook friends, updates status on multiple networks simultaneously. Have you got the idea how useful it is? Design wise, modern and easy navigation, with a creative quick guide spawned upon installation.
With this app, it is simply like a portal for all your Internet needs. However, it takes more memory than I imagined, with 90MB even in idle. Let's just hope this issue will be fixed when go on stable version.
