AppAdmin: Blocks Programs From Being Accessed!

Protecting a file from unauthorized user especially on a shared computer is fairly easy with either encryption or with different user account. But how do you block access to a specific program? If you have kids, I believe you would love to temporarily lockdown Messenger to stop them from chatting the whole day, or torrenting without your permission.

AppAdmin by Sordum is a tiny portable utility that enables blocking of specific software installed on a system. Simply drag and drop any program, it then automatically creates a deny rule via group policy entry, which will work on all version of Windows.

This application does not run in background, thus uses no additional resources. The blocking uses the MD5 hash information of the file, makes renaming trick will not work. Also, note that blocking a shortcut file on desktop for instance only denies access to that shortcut, but not the program itself in "C:\Program Files (x86)\Comodo\Dragon", so make sure to block the root application for true stealth.
