Fences: Organize Desktop Icons!

Where do you save your new downloaded files? I choose the desktop. If you are the same as I, soon desktop will be cluttered by short-cuts and icons in no less time and looking for a specific file make no sense anymore. Fences is a tiny application to organize your desktop and hide icons when not necessarily used.

Free for personal use, Fences offers generous features include creating unlimited fences, hides all icons with double-clicks and flexibility to change colour and opacity of fences.

Fences provides two default ways to organize desktop, else to create an own new one. More personal preferences can be found in the appearance tab.

To easily create a fence, simply right-click and drag, and you will see the option to create a new fence. Note that all settings before creating a fence will be backed up for restoring purposes.

Ability to hide icons by double-clicking mentioned above is simply amazing to keep desktop a clean look. You can configure either to hide everything, or keep only selected fences visible on desktop by excluding them from quick-hide. I love this :P
