Often, even by not clicking on any suspicious file, a computer can also get infected easily. How? Most malwares works on Windows Autorun feature, which is enabled by default. Once a drive, say Usb thumbdrive is plugged, commonly infested autorun.exe or autorun.inf starts their attacking, automatically.
So, one of the most important way to secure a system is to disable Autorun feature, but Windows doesn't provide an easy way to do so.
These 2 tiny softwares can easily disable Windows Autorun feature, and Panda's can further modify autorun.inf of any external drive to be read only, preventing it to be infected.
