How To Remove Arrows From Desktop Shortcut Icons!

Every shortcut to files or folders on Windows desktop comes with an arrow on the left by default. Many would like to have these arrows gone in order to get a better-looking icon. At any rate Windows does not provide an easy option to remove it, since modifying the registry is the only method which is not for novice.

Still, you can easily use a third-party software to get rid of those arrows, like the Ultimate Windows Tweaker for Windows Vista and 7. Navigate to "Additional Tweaks" section and check for "Remove arrows from Shortcut Icons". Then re-log into Windows again and you'll see the effect.
